EDP Wasp

CHF 1'300

A classic and rare synthesizer from E.D.P. This one looks weak and cheap but trust me, it packs a massive punch and can sound extremely dirty!

Description

The Wasp is a quirky little synthesizer that, despite its toy-like appearance, is a high-quality instrument that produces fun and edgy analog sounds. It’s also really black and yellow, just like the insect it’s named after. Probably its most distinctive feature is the 2-octave keyboard that uses non-moving, velocity-sensitive keys. The flat little keys respond only to your electrostatic touch. However, a look under the hood reveals some nice surprises. The WASP is monophonic and is driven by two digital oscillators supported by analog filters, envelopes and controls. This makes it one of the first compact digital/analog hybrid mono synthesizers, and it sounds great! The Wasp offers flexible subtractive synthesis. It’s pretty easy to create some cool bass, synth, and other classic monophonic sounds.
