The MFB 512 works with eleven digitally stored drum sounds [BD Bass Drum, SD Snare Drum, LT 13′ Tom, MT 12′ Tom, HT 10′ Tom, HC Hand Claps, CY Cymbal, OH Open Hihat, HH Hihat (closed)]. 64 patterns & 64 fill-in patterns can be stored. These can be combined to 8 chains of max. 256 bars. The total capacity is 2048 bars. Bar changes (3/4, 7/8) are programmable.
